Kalpak Tāpas
I have a tendency to spiral into a single thought—an incident, a memory, a flicker—and follow it deep enough to forget where I am. At some point, people around me learned to poke me back to reality. That's when I realized: the mind, left to wander without witness, loops endlessly. So I started keeping records—observing, reflecting, occasionally watching myself reflect. It's a strange recursion that sometimes stalls the very insight it seeks. Analysis Paralysis.
By day, I work as a software engineer. By night, I drift—dabbling across domains where art, logic, and metaphor intersect. I find expression not just in literature, music, or film, but in stranger places too: a well-designed interface, a haunting video game level, a line of code with unexpected elegance.
I'm a sucker for discovery—especially in physics, computer science, and the odd tangent that connects them. I don't pretend to master the breadth of human knowledge, but I like peering into its corners.
This blog is where thought sediments into shape. Expect everything from lyrical sketches to technical reflections, sideways analogies to sudden insights. Occasionally, a post may even resemble an essay, or a poem.
I play the piano and listen to far too much kpop these days.
