Kalpak Tāpas
I found that I tend at times, to hook upon a particular thought, incident or memory involuntarily, and analyse it to the extent of going into a trance. When people started bringing me back to reality by poking and prodding, I realized that my thoughts straying constantly without boundary need to be reined in, organized and assimilated to keep snapshots for the record. I observe, analyse and in course of time, observe myself doing the analysis — in effect paralysing the outcome.
I am a software engineer by day, and a dabbler by night. I like exploring art in various forms, not only in literature, music, movies or television but also unconventional places like video games and product design. It is after all a medium of expression - there is no limit to where a creative genius can hide it. I am also a sucker for scientific discovery, whatever field it may be in. I don't think I'll be able to do justice to the vastness of human knowledge, so I tend to be a bit partial to computer science and physics.
Fortunately, doing what I do, I'll never run out of things to write. I love experimenting with various formats - from short descriptive pieces, to deep analytical ones. You may also find the occasional tech piece. I work for Microsoft, but opinions on this blog are my own.
I love classical music and also play the piano. Do feel free to listen in. If you're the kind who likes thought provoking discussions, or just in the mood for a casual game of Dota, you can write to me.
